Welcome to The Short Course to Mental Wealth and A Newer Way of Thinking. Your participation means a great deal to me. I believe you will benefit by the time and effort you invest in ANWOT [A Newer Way of Thinking]. Let’s get right into what is important for you to know.
1. I’m convinced the ANWOT mental skills are powerful because I have seen the results of many persons who have applied them and I have received such positive feedback.
2. You will never be asked for money! These E-books are motivated by my satisfaction in sharing what I have learned in a near lifetime of opportunity. I hope you will want to do the same for the personal satisfaction of adding something of value to others. The Educational Community, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) approved non-profit corporation whose purpose is to provide education for peace of mind and world peace. The Internet site, “anwot.org”, is available FREE to anyone wherever and whenever they choose to use it.
3. I confess I am a novice with computer.
a. When my Microsoft “Word” version of A Newer Way of Thinking was put on the Internet by the site provider, it was changed to “HTML” language. Some of the spacing may be slightly distorted. I don’t expect this will interfere with important concepts. In the future, a PDF (more accurate) format will be put on this site. The Short Course to Mental Wealth is already in PDF format and the reproduction is true.
b. I believe the print on the screen can be adjusted, larger or smaller. On my computer, that control is on the lower right of the screen.
c. I recommend you print out the strens (mental skills) one or two at a time. It is easier to read and more portable. Add strens as you familiarize yourself with each earlier ones and apply what you have printed out. Save the printed strens in a binder for future review.
d. The Short Course to Mental Wealth provides basic “What to do” skills to become your own best friend and introduces you to the skills of a newer way of thinking. The full course, A Newer Way of Thinking, emphasizes “Why” destructive thinking has been, and continues to be, so prevalent; more important, it explains “How” collectively, we can make our lives and the world we live in quite wonderful. I hope The Short Course will motivate you to invest your energy in the full course.
4. The blog has several categories from which you may choose:
a. MY SPACE: This is where I communicate with you. It is my opportunity to keep you informed about what is current and make it easier to benefit from the mental skills offered. I will respond to your comments in YOUR SPACE or in MY SPACE.
b. YOUR SPACE: This is where your comments are published for others including me to read. Just put in your comments. Critical comments about my contributions are welcome; obscenities and putdowns to others are not. Items will appear in order.
c. YOUR STRENS: Share an important wisdom that you think will benefit others. Please understand that your contribution to the ANWOT blog is meant to be shared in the public domain and you will not receive monetary compensation.
d. NEW STRENS: This is where I will add to the curriculum currently in the E-book AND may include strens I select from YOUR STRENS to include in the basic ANWOT curriculum.
e. REGISTRY: Your E-mail address will not be shared or given to anyone unless you register it in this section of the blog. When you put your name and e-mail in this registry, you are indicating welcome e-mail discussion or a chat group to further skills in ANWOT.
5. While I will attempt to respond to comments addressed to me, my time constraints may not allow me to do so on a daily basis. I will try to commuicate via MY SPACE or YOUR SPACE.
6. Please recommend ANWOT to others. By popularizing the mental skills we have found that work, we each can contribute to making the world a better and safer place for ourselves, those we love, and those whom we shall never meet. Try this: suggest a friend read TheShort Course to Mental Wealth FREE on the Internet at “anwot.org” AND offer to meet and treat them to lunch when they finish so that you can share your thoughts.
